What tingdo does

Tags that describe where or with what you can do a task: #computer, #phone, #errands, #home. Filter your next actions by context with one tap, or type # in the search bar.

Anything that takes more than one step is a project. Convert a task into a project the moment you realize it's bigger than you thought. Projects can hold subprojects. Each level has its own next action, or it's flagged as stalled.

Reference material like passwords, dimensions, or policy numbers belongs in the project it relates to, not in a separate notes app. Create a note with * in the search bar. Tasks you've delegated or are waiting on someone else to complete. They have their own status and their own step in the weekly review.

Everything tingdo does supports one ritual: a calm, weekly review of your whole system. Capture, waiting-for status, someday/maybe, and stalled project signals all feed into it. Every project needs a next action. When one doesn't, tingdo flags it during the review, so nothing quietly stops moving without you noticing.

A parking lot for things you're not committed to yet. Both tasks and projects can have someday/maybe status. They stay hidden from your daily workflow and surface during the weekly review.

tingdo doesn't have its own calendar. Instead, scheduled tasks can appear in the calendar you already use: Google, Apple, Outlook, or any calendar that speaks the standard. Your week stays in one place.

tingdo works without an internet connection. Your tasks are stored locally and sync automatically when you're back online.
