Why we ask you to pay
The free plan has no time limit. Five projects, two areas, three contexts, and the full next bar: for a lot of people that is the whole system, and it can stay that way.
Your work does not arrive in one place. Email, chat, a call you did not plan, someone at your desk with a quick question: most of it reaches you somewhere louder than a task list. The last thing that day needs is one more thing shouting. So tingdo doesn't.
Saying that is easy. It holds because your subscription is the only thing that pays for tingdo. The only way this works is if the app is still worth paying for a year from now. Nobody is waiting for us to grow, so we don't have to invent a reason for you to open the app more often. No streaks, no nudges, no number that goes up when you visit.
We promise tingdo will stay quiet. That promise has a price attached: if we break it, you stop paying. We open the app every morning too, and we would rather you get your work done and close it.

Can I change plans later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You'll see a gentle reminder with the option to upgrade. Nothing breaks. A project you complete or delete gives its place back, and so does an area you archive or a context you delete. If you reach your image storage, only new uploads pause. Viewing, keeping, and deleting the images you already have is never blocked.
How many projects do I get?
Free includes 5 projects, Pro 100, and Unlimited has no cap. A project takes a place while it is active, on hold, or on your someday list, and gives that place back as soon as you complete or delete it.
How much image storage do I get?
Free includes 500 MB, Pro 5 GB, and Unlimited has no cap. Every plan allows up to 20 images per task description and up to 5 MB per image. Photos are resized and compressed automatically before upload, so ordinary screenshots and phone photos land well under that.
How many areas of focus do I get?
Free includes 2 areas, Pro 8, and Unlimited has no cap. Only active areas count, so an area you archive keeps its standard, its notes, and its project links without taking up a slot. Areas are optional: your projects and next actions work the same whether you use them or not.
Is there a trial period?
Every new account starts with one week of Unlimited included, no card needed. After the week, you stay on whichever plan you signed up for, and everything you created during the trial stays exactly as it is. The projects, areas, and contexts you set up keep working as before: nothing is hidden, locked, or deleted when the week ends. If you ended up with more of them than your plan includes, you keep all of it, and creating new ones waits until you are back under the allowance. The free plan is yours forever, so there’s no rush.
How does billing work?
Yearly billing through our payment partner Lemon Squeezy. Prices include VAT, and you can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You can manage your subscription anytime.
